Challenges
Using Simple Terms to Support Patient Care
Communication skills are at the heart of any engagement, especially one between a doctor and patient. As healthcare professionals, doctors are often in situations where they need to convey complex issues in a compelling and empathetic way.
Amidst their busy schedules, the doctors grappled with simplifying difficult medical terms and delivering that information in a logical and concise manner that would be understood by the laymen.
Lack of visual aid to captivate target audience
Low engagement with audience
Difficulties in simplifying complex medical terms in a comprehensible manner
How we helped
Empowering Professionals to Create Clear Communications
Our Hackathon program was tailored for doctors and physicians to successfully deliver technical information in a clear and engaging manner with the use of professional-looking collaterals that contained more than just texts.
With 1 trainer and 4 coaches, the 4-hour program included group coaching, presentations and a final feedback session by experts in the field. Participants also practised projecting their voices and speaking confidently in front of a crowd.
