Let's Talk

Pricing factors

What moves a project within its range

  • Preliminary Work

Lower in the range: Clear content and a usable outline shared upfront Higher in the range: No existing structure; content has to be drawn out

Depending on how much information you can communicate to us upfront, the costs will vary. Naturally, if you can demystify complex content and clear doubts early on, we can jump straight into revamping your presentation. Otherwise we’ll devote extra time to fully understanding and digesting your content before we can start on your presentation all synced up. If you lack an existing structure or content in general, that spells out more work for us to ease the details out of your team and extract hours to iterate the content storyboard.

Instead of giving us vague, incomplete details about your project, help us understand your topic from the get-go and send us the closest thing you have to any usable outline or format instead of Word.

  • Complexity

Lower in the range: Lean slides, detail kept in speaker notes Higher in the range: Cluttered, complex material to streamline

Is your existing material extremely cluttered and complex? There is a likelihood that it will cost more simply because it takes more time to decipher, research and streamline.

By explaining complex content in the presentation advanced (usually in speaker notes) and reducing the amount of words/irrelevant images in the slides, this saves our team time in the long-run simplifying your content and reduces cost on your end.

  • Approvals & Revisions

Lower in the range: Two revision rounds, few approvers Higher in the range: Many stakeholders, revisions beyond agreed scope

Standard projects include two rounds of revisions and additional revisions are often anticipated to either be included in the original estimate or billed separately if the revisions fall out of agreed scope.

We’ve found that revisions become overwhelming when there are too many stakeholders involved in the approval process or when expectations aren’t communicated clearly early on. To avoid extra costs, we recommend that clients relay requirements clearly in advanced and reduce the number of people involved in approvals.

  • Timeline

Lower in the range: A comfortable 2–4 week lead time Higher in the range: Tight deadlines that need rush work

We strongly recommend that clients come to us early with the work that they anticipate needs done, this is so we’ll have adequate time to explore more ideas and iterations for a better product. Understandably, things don’t always work out the way we anticipate and our team can put in extra time past operating hours to deliver a solid product for your tight deadlines. However, this can entail additional rush fees.

The typical comfortable lead time for us to create an asset is about 2–4 weeks. Give us that as a minimum lead time to create your deliverable. For more complex narratives, it could even take months if it’s an important enough strategy for the company.

  • Animations and Additional Requirements

Lower in the range: Storytelling and design at the core Higher in the range: Animation, explainer video and extra visual polish

Most clients come to us for our storytelling abilities and unique methods to communicate complex info in compelling ways. At times, some bells and whistles in visuals are warranted. These could extend timelines and also result in additional costs.

Explainer videos take at minimum a month and require a different process from other mediums.

  • Deliverable Load

Lower in the range: Fewer slides, pages or minutes Higher in the range: More slides, pages, video length or web pages

Needless to say, the actual number of deliverables will affect pricing. E.g. amount of slides in a deck, length of video, pages in brand guide, detail of a sales playbook, pages on a website.
