CLAUDE COURSE

Claude AI Training for Teams

A hands-on Claude course for teams who want to use Claude for real work: research, long documents, writing, coding help and repeatable workflows, set up safely on your company's plan.

Trusted by teams in best-in-class organisations

Claude forgets your team's context every time a new chat starts.

Facing issues such as:

  • Everyone re-explains the same background at the start of every chat
  • Long reports and contracts that nobody has time to read closely
  • Drafts that sound generic instead of like your team
  • Curiosity about Claude Code, with no clear idea of what it is or whether to touch it
  • Unclear rules on what is safe to paste into Claude

Leave with a Claude Project your team can reuse.

  • Give Claude your team's context

Set up a Project with your files and instructions, so Claude starts each task already knowing your work instead of starting from a blank chat.

  • Trust what you ship from long documents

Summarise, compare and extract from long documents, then check each claim against the source before it reaches a report.

  • Build and automate without being a developer

Get coding help for spreadsheets, scripts and small tools, and see what Claude Code does, explained in plain language.

Course Overview

What the Claude course covers

Workshop Agenda

  • Set up Claude with your team's context using Projects, files and instructions
  • Work across long documents: summarise, compare, extract and check sources
  • Draft, critique and rewrite in your team's voice
  • Get coding help for spreadsheets, scripts and small tools without being a developer
  • See what Claude Code can build and automate, and where to stop and ask for help
  • Turn a recurring task into a reusable Project or prompt, and check outputs before they leave the team

Every module pairs a short demo in Claude with a task on your own laptop and a debrief. You attempt the task your own way, see where Claude goes wrong, then apply the fix: a better Project, a source check or a clearer brief.

Practice files are fictional or non-confidential. Before the course we ask which tasks your teams handle, so the exercises match their work. Anthropic updates Claude often, so we teach the Claude features your plan includes on the day.

Claude AI Training curriculum (half day, 7 modules)

About four hours in Claude, with one 15-minute break; timings are approximate. A full day or 2 days keeps these seven modules and adds time on your own documents and with Claude Code.

  • Share where you use Claude now, where it helped and where it let you down
  • How Claude works in plain terms: the model, context and why long chats drift
  • What your plan and workspace settings control
  • Name the real task you will rebuild during the session
Module 2: Projects, Giving Claude Your Team's Context (35 min)

Talk and Demo

  • What a Project holds: instructions, files and shared background

Hands-on

  • Build a Project for your own role or team, using fictional or non-confidential files
Module 3: Long Documents and Research (40 min)

Talk and Demo

  • Summarise, compare and extract across long documents
  • Ask for quotes and page references, then check them against the source

  • Work through a long practice report: find the key points, spot the gaps and verify three claims
Module 4: Writing in Your Voice (35 min)

Talk and Demo

  • Give Claude samples of your voice and a clear audience
  • Draft, critique and rewrite loops

Hands-on

  • Rewrite a weak draft in your team's voice and compare the versions
  • Turn a report into a deck outline, then take it further with AI for presentations
Module 5: Coding Help and Claude Code, Explained Plainly (45 min)

Talk and Demo

  • What coding help means for non-developers: spreadsheet formulas, small scripts, file clean-up and simple web tools
  • What Claude Code is: an AI agent that works on files and tasks on your computer, and how approvals keep you in control
  • When to build it yourself and when to hand it to your developers

Hands-on

  • Describe a small tool or recurring task, then have Claude write the code and explain it line by line
  • Watch Claude Code build and fix a small automation, step by step

Worked example

Set up a Claude Project for a policy-heavy team

The kind of task participants rebuild in the session, shown here on a fictional HR team. Each step maps to a module above.

  1. Write the Project instructions

The team lead describes the team, who reads its work and its house style, and saves this as the Project's instructions. Every new chat in the Project starts with that context instead of a blank page.

  2. Add the long document

A practice policy document goes into the Project's files. Claude summarises it for a manager with five minutes to spare, with a page reference for every point.

  3. Check before you trust it

Participants pick three claims from the summary and check each one against the source. Anything Claude cannot point to in the document is cut.

  4. Save what worked

The prompt that produced the checked summary is saved in the Project, so a colleague gets the same quality on the next policy.

  5. See what Claude Code adds

For a recurring chore such as filing and renaming the summaries, the trainer shows Claude Code building a small automation, with an approval at each step, and where to hand over to your developers.
